Fun Things You Can Safely Do with Babies

One of the biggest things I think when I wake up is: which are some fun things you can safely do with babies? There are so many Excellent things to see and do in life, and I want to share them all with her so she can experience everything the world has to offer.
I am not sure if you had the same thoughts, but for me, it is important that I keep my day busy and support my baby’s developing mind. I am a very active person, so sitting on the sofa all day is not for me, even with a baby. In fact, since Sofia was two weeks old, I did many things with her. This was mostly because the days can become pretty stressful, and the anxiety can be right around the corner. Being active and busy is vital for me to still feel good about myself and to avoid feeling that my only purpose in life is to feed her.
With that being said, there are tons of things you can do. Some are better than others when it comes to newborns. To support you on your parenting journey, here are some of my favorite and safe activities that my little girl and I love.
Walk Walk Walk!
Yes, there is no secret behind this. Find the courage in your new routine to start walking with your baby by yourself, with your partner, or with a friend. It’s a fun things to do with babies. Breathing in the fresh air and feeling a little sun on your skin is perfect for you and your baby. It can lift your mood, get you to a healthier physical state, and give your newborn peaceful, naturistic vibes to ease their minds. Just make sure not to overdress your baby. A little trick that a friend of mine told me is dress them like you dress. Also, measure your baby’s temperature by feeling part of the neck behind the head to determine if they are feeling hot or cold.
Talk Talk Talk!
Interestingly, babies love it when we talk. So talk to them all the time or have them listen to music. I heard that Mozart is good relaxing music for babies, and you can find many YouTube songs for babies.
Play Play Play!

It can be a sure thing, but most of my friends didn’t play with their baby until they were about a month old. Instead, I began at two weeks and is is a fun things to do with babies. This was mostly because I wasn’t sure what to do with her, and I wanted to stimulate her as much as possible. Of course, they can’t do much when they are that young, but about 10 minutes a day is excellent. Remember, do not overwhelm them because it can be a nightmare at night if they don’t get their sleep. Let them sleep as much as they need to, and if they have the extra time, try to play with them then.
What Are You Waiting For?
I have to say that Sofia is four months old, and she is a super active and curious baby, as she should be. She is also capable of interacting well, and I am sure that a little part of it is due to her personality. But I like to think the other part is because I encourage her to be curious. So, what are you waiting for? Walk, talk, and play with your little one. Witness how they develop from these things, and watch how your bond with them grows.
